Ed Sheeran Reveals New Album Title And Teases Lyrics
Ed Sheeran kicked off 2017 by announcing that his hiatus was over, and that he was coming back.
He revealed that he’d be dropping new music at 5 am on the 6th January (tomorrow), and excited fans are already speculating that this will be more than just a new single – that it’ll be a full, surprise album.
They might just be right… Sheeran tweeted “÷” this morning, which people are assuming (following on from + and x) must be the title of his third album.

He also teased some lyrics:

Sheeran announced in December 2015 that he would be taking a break, saying that he was “seeing the world through a screen and not my eyes”, and wanted to “travel the world and see everything I missed”.
He only made a couple of public appearances last year – he cameoed as himself in Bridget Jones’ Baby, and also briefly joined singer Foy Vance on stage at Latitude – and his fans will certainly be pleased that he’s back.
Roll on 5 am tomorrow…
